Here’s a breakdown of the key takeaways:

The core structure of PUBG Esports will remain the same in 2025, featuring six prestigious global tournaments: PGS (PUBG Global Series), PNC (PUBG Nations Cup), and PGC (PUBG Global Championship). Only the top-performing teams throughout the year will qualify for these global stages.

With multiple tournaments spread throughout the year, consistent performance will be crucial for teams aiming to reach the pinnacle – the PUBG Global Championship. Regular top finishes will be the key to securing a coveted spot at PGC 2025.

PUBG Global Series (PGS) 2025: Solidified as a premier global event in 2024, the PGS will return as the foundation for the road to PGC 2025. Four PGS events are scheduled throughout the year, each featuring 24 teams.

Team Composition for PGS 2025: The 24 team slots for each PGS event will be filled with a combination of established teams and rising stars. Ten slots are reserved for the prestigious “Global Partner Teams,” while the remaining 14 spots will be determined through Regional Series qualifiers held across five regions: China, Korea, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), APAC (Asia Pacific), and Americas.

Regional Series Path to PGC 2025: The well-established Regional Series will continue to provide a crucial pathway for talented regional teams to showcase their skills and potentially qualify for the biggest PUBG Esports event – the PUBG Global Championship.

PUBG Nations Cup (PNC): A fan favorite, the PUBG Nations Cup, returns in 2025. This international event brings together all-star teams representing their respective countries, fostering national pride and fierce competition.

PUBG Global Partner Teams 2025: The PUBG Global Partner Team program remains a cornerstone of PUBG Esports in 2025. However, to maintain a dynamic and competitive ecosystem, existing partner teams will need to undergo the same evaluation process as new applicants.
